Abstract
The aim of this talk is to illustrate some basics about how to model and solve optimization problems using the AMPL language. In fact, we do not need to install any kind of software because the NEOS Server will lend us their remote computers to do the job.

About the speaker
Visiting Professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid since September 2017. Graduate (June 2012), Master (July 2013) and PhD (June 2017) in Mathematics from Universidad de Sevilla.
